Thieves broke into reality star Kourtney Kardashian's southern California home this weekend and stole tens of thousands of dollars worth of jewelry, according to reports.

Kardashian, a socialite best known for the reality shows "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" and "Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami," went to dinner with boyfriend Scott Disick about 7 p.m. Saturday.

She returned about 8:30 p.m. to find her Calabasas townhouse ransacked, according to TMZ.

Among the items the pregnant starlet reported missing were her $30,000 Cartier watch, Disick's Rolex and various pricey diamond pieces.

Thieves also took off with Kardashian's vintage jewelry left to her by her late dad, Robert Kardashian, a prominent lawyer who helped defend O.J. Simpson in his murder trial, TMZ reported.

The L.A. County Sheriff's Dept. is investigating and so far puts the loss at $80,000, according to People.com.

Kardashian, whose family owns several high-end boutiques, is the latest young starlet to be victimized by burglars.

In the last 10 months, thieves have broken into the homes of Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Audrina Patridge, Hayden Panettiere and Rachel Bilson, People.com reported.

Kourtney's sister Khloe Kardashian married Los Angeles Laker Lamar Odom in a high-profile wedding in Beverly Hills last month.

Watched by millions around the world, the memorial struck a tone more spiritual than spectacular Tuesday, opening with a church choir serenading his golden casket and continuing with somber speeches and gospel-infused musical performances.

The Rev. Lucious W. Smith of the Friendship Baptist Church in Pasadena gave the greeting on the same stage where Jackson had been rehearsing for a concert series in the days before his June 25 death at age 50. Then Mariah Carey sang the opening performance with a sweet rendition of the Jackson 5 ballad "I'll Be There," a duet with Trey Lorenz.

"We come together and we remember the time," said Smith, riffing on one of Jackson's lyrics. "As long as we remember him, he will always be there to comfort us."

According to Contactmusic.com, the buzz in the film industry has been that studio executives are considering casting Depp to play Jackson in his later years until his sudden death. While "Ray" star, Jaime Foxx, is reportedly being sought to play the "Thriller" singer before his drastic change in appearance.

"There are a number of offers being drawn up with a variety of angles to tell Michael's incredible life story. Some involve using archive footage of Michael and his family and footage from his live shows," and insider said.

So Last night was my first time at Edwards Theater, lol I will be going there all the time now, since i do Get in for FREE =], so first we watched UP in 3D, that's the best way to watch it only lol Movie was Hilarious, and Cute all at the same time, made me wanna cry a little bit but i didn't, *squirrel...(ima just start saying that randomly in conversations) minus the distractions by some little kids who came in half way through the movie it was still GOOD. i would give it and "A", if you have the choice to see anything in 3D be sure to, anything less is not worth it.

We Tried to sneak into another movie but they were high on security, but once we took the elevator up we realized how to trick the system lol so next time we know better (shhh). But Transformers 2 was ok kool, not better then the 1st, but still good and kept my attention through the whole movie. Lowkey im tired of these movies were the Good guys always win, i wanna see evil win once lol just to make the story more interesting. The ending was pretty quick and kinda weird it left some things hanging i guess you can say, Action was on point, everything was great, the acting was pretty corny but most parts was funny as hell, which i love about the movie, its comedy and action all in one. So i would give this movie a "B+".

Chris Brown and Rihanna seemed like the perfect couple on the outside, but after his recent arrest for felony battery, we’ve learned that it wasn’t the first time Chris raised a hand on her.

According to Police reports, Rihanna claims that Chris has hit her in the past and she referred to it as an ongoing and escalating abusive relationship.

When Rihanna first spoke to LAPD she refused to tell them what started the argument that night. We’ve now learned that it was the result of another woman sending Chris a text message about meeting up later on in the night.

During the argument, according to the police report, she ordered him to drive her home and “faked a call” to someone, saying things like, “He’s dropping me off. Make sure the cops are there,” reports TMZ. This enraged Chris.

He then said something to the effect of “You are really fu**ed up now. I’m going to kill you.” That’s when Chris allegedly began his violent attack with his fists.

At some point during the attack Rihanna took the car keys out of the ignition and threw them outside. He reportedly went outside to look for them, and returned back to the car and allegedly choked her. That’s when she lost consciousness and a witness called 911.

Based on Rihanna’s statement and her injuries Chris will definitely face a felony domestic battery charge, but it’s unclear at this time whether or not that’s the only charge he’ll get because evidence that he made criminal threats against Rihanna is kind of thin.

Rihanna Identified as Alleged Victim in Chris Brown Assault

Sources tell Usmagazine.com that Rihanna is the alleged victim in the felony battery investigation involving her boyfriend, singer Chris Brown.
On Sunday, around 6:30 p.m., Brown, 19, turned himself in to Los Angeles police and was officially booked at 7:41 p.m. for making criminal threats.
Brown posted $50,000 bail and was released.
The case is being presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office; additional charges may be filed.
Brown is due in court March 5.

Jennifer Hudson's Super Return

I have a confession: I really don't care about the Super Bowl. In fact, until this morning, I didn't even know what teams were playing in the big game. My interest in televised competitions has always been limited to fodder like Dancing With the Stars and, of course, American Idol. But this year I knew I'd actually tune in for Super Bowl XLIII, once I found out that one of my favorite Idols, Jennifer Hudson, would be singing the national anthem. This was a performance not to be missed.

As I'm sure most of you reading this know by now, in October 2008 Jen's seemingly perfect life--hot new debut album just out in stores, new all-star movie in theaters, new engagement to I Love New York TV bachelor Davis "Punk" Otunga--was shattered when her mother, brother, and nephew were tragically murdered in Chicago. (Her estranged brother-in-law has been arrested in the case.) Since then, the "Spotlight" singer has remained completely out of the spotlight, understandably canceling all photo and video shoots, interviews, and public performances. Until now.

Today in Tampa, Jennifer finally emerged from seclusion to sing the national anthem. After all, what better showcase could there be for her much-awaited, rising-from-ashes return than Super Bowl XLIII, where she'd sing one of the most triumphant songs in history, for more TV viewers than any other broadcast on earth, in front of a stadium filled with fans all rooting for her just as heartily as they'd root for the Cardinals or Steelers?

And it was a super return indeed. First of all, she looked stunning--a sophisticated vision in black cigarette pants, button-studded military jacket, funky doorknocker earrings, glamorous updo, and a pair of stilettos so razor-sharp it's a wonder they didn't sink into the grass during her walk to the center of the football field. And the crowd roar she received when she appeared was an ovation worthy of a true superstar.

However, it wasn't a perfect comeback. Jennifer was visibly nervous--heaving a giant sigh before she picked up the mic, and an even heavier one (presumably of relief) when it was all over--and she never smiled once. I imagine that if the song hadn't been pretaped (a common practice at the Super Bowl, since the acoustics at such a massive venue aren't conducive to live singing), her wavering voice might have cracked before the song was done, making it impossible for her to confidently hit the big payoff note at the end.

Yes, it was obvious that she was having a tough time of it, and that this was a very bittersweet moment here. Here she was, singing for the biggest international audience in the world, a huge career milestone for her...and sadly, her closest family members weren't there to witness it. But the resilience she displayed during her emotional run on American Idol and as Effie in Dreamgirls was still evident, and she made it through with her characteristic class and strength.

And I have a feeling her mother, brother, and nephew were there to witness her performance, in spirit, and she made them (and the gazillions of others watching, including myself) very proud.

Game on, Jennifer. It's nice to have you back.

Ricardo Montalban dies at 88

Ricardo Montalban, the Mexican-born actor who became a star in splashy MGM musicals and later as the wish-fulfilling Mr. Roarke in TV's "Fantasy Island," died Wednesday morning at his home, a city councilman said. He was 88.

Montalban's death was announced at a meeting of the city council by president Eric Garcetti, who represents the district where the actor lived. Garcetti did not give a cause of death.

NEW YORK — The first phone that harnesses Google Inc.'s ambition to make the Internet easy to use on the go was revealed Tuesday, and it looks a lot like an iPhone.

T-Mobile USA showed off the G1, a phone that, like Apple Inc.'s iPhone, has a large touch screen. But it also packs a trackball, a slide-out keyboard and easy access to Google's e-mail and mapping programs.

T-Mobile said it will begin selling the G1 for $179 with a two-year contract. The device hits U.S. stores Oct. 22 and heads to Britain in November and other European countries early next year.

The phone will be sold in T-Mobile stores only in the U.S. cities where the company has rolled out its faster, third-generation wireless data network. By launch, that will be 21 cities, including New York, Los Angeles, Houston and Miami.

In other areas, people will be able to buy the phone from T-Mobile's Web site. The phone does work on T-Mobile's slower data network, but it's optimized for the faster networks. It can also connect at Wi-Fi hotspots.

The data plan for the phone will cost $25 per month on top of the calling service, at the low end of the range for data plans at U.S. wireless carriers. And at $179, the G1 is $20 less than the least expensive iPhone in the U.S.

Android, the free software powering the G1, is a crucial building block in Google's efforts to make its search engine and other services as accessible on cell phones as they already are on personal computers. The company believes it eventually might make more money selling ads that get shown on mobile devices than on PCs, a channel that will generate about $20 billion in revenue this year.

Both Yahoo Inc. and Microsoft Corp. also are investing heavily in the mobile market in hopes of preventing Google from extending the dominance it enjoys in searches initiated on PCs.

Guys, I know this is going to come as a bit of a shocker, so I hope you're sitting down before you continue reading. But (deep breath, now)...Clay Aiken has confirmed, in an interview featured on the cover of the upcoming issue of People magazine and first leaked on Perez Hilton's site, that he is indeed (wait for it), homosexual.

All right, all right...so this isn't the biggest news scoop in tabloid history. This is sort of akin to reporting that Chris Daughtry is bald, or that David Cook uses hair gel, or that Ruben Studdard shops at Big & Tall For Men. It's always been that obvious. But this is the first time that Clay has actually acknowledged it, so I for one am thrilled that he has set the record straight (no pun intended).

For years, practically from the minute he reared his bespectacled head on season 2 of American Idol, Clay has skirted (again, no pun intended) around this issue--even telling Diane Sawyer herself that she was "really rude" to grill him about his sexuality in a 2006 Good Morning America interview. He always made a big point of keeping his private life just that--private--but it seemed the quieter he remained, the louder all the gossip (and snarky jokes) became.

Of course, promo photos of Clay's new look (frosty blonde highlights, inch-thick pancake makeup), or news than his son was conceived via medical intervention with his 50-year-old "best friend," didn't help matters. But Clay still kept mum, perhaps out of fear of alienating his adoring, mostly female fanbase.

But now Clay has finally come out, in a People article accompanied by the first published photos of his new bouncing baby boy, Parker Foster (who apparently was his inspiration for telling the whole truth and nothing but the truth here, as he told the mag, "I cannot raise a child to lie or to hide things"). Kudos to Clay for being an honest role model for his child, and I'm certain that any worries Clay--or, probably more specifically, his handlers--had about him losing fans after such a confession will prove totally unfounded.

DJ AM and Travis Barker injured in crash

Former Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker and Adam "DJ AM" Goldstein survived a Learjet plane crash Friday night.

The four other passengers, still unidentified, two passengers and two crew members, were killed in the crash, according to CNN.

Both men were in critical condition with extensive burns at the Joseph Still Burn Center in Augusta, Georgia early Saturday.

The National Transportation Safety Board sent a Go Team to Columbia, S.C., to investigate the crash of the Learjet 60, which crashed on takeoff at the Columbia Metropolitan Airport at 11:53 p.m. Friday night. Sparks were reportedly seen on takeoff by flight controllers.

Beth Frits, spokeswoman at the Burn Center, told CNN that Barker and Goldstein arrived at the hospital early Saturday with "extensive burns." At last report, they are still in critical condition.

Barker and Goldstein, who perform together under the name TRVSDJ-AM, held a free outdoor concert in Columbia's college neighborhood Friday night. DJ Steve Aoki, Perry Farrell and Gavin DeGraw also performed with them. Farrell's manager has confirmed to MTV that he was not on the plane. Perez Hilton is reporting that DeGraw was not on the plane.

Confirmed dead to MTV are the plane's pilot, Sarah Lemmon, 31, of Anaheim, Calif., and her copilot, James Bland, 52, from Carlsbad, Calif. Barker's assistant, Chris "Little Chris" Baker, also died in the crash. He was 29, and lived in Studio City, Calif. One other passenger is still unidentified.

"It's absolutely terrible and tragic," Columbia Mayor Bob Coble told AP.

Please say prayers for everyone who was on that flight.

The witch hunt for made up past histories by rappers has now moved on to the, “Definition of Real,” Mr.Plies. HipHopDX did an extensive search to see if he was arrested for anything substantial in his life.

HipHopDX has obtained documentation from the state of Florida that lists the “definition of real” rapper’s first real run-in with the law to have not taken place until two years ago, on April 12, 2006, when Plies - real name Algernod Lanier Washington, born May 22, 1976 - would have been on the eve of his 30th birthday and just beginning his ascension to his current status of gold-certified rap star.

But there are the occasional past tense references to what appear to be claims of his own criminal activity.
